Welcome to our website

We are a group of people who, on behalf of people with disabilities, aim to improve access to buildings, shops and to raise awareness of other issues, eg information.

The panel consists of people who have an interest in disability, people with a disability, professionals, e.g. representatives of the local council and also local councillors.

The panel works to promote the importance of an inclusive, accessible envrionment for all.

The next meeting of the Tweeddale Access Panel will be held in the common room, Tweed Bridge Court Peebles, on Wednesday 11th May at 1pm  Please note the change from the usual time

The meeting is open to the public and has a full agenda on issues relating to good access in our community, anyone who has a point to raise or is seeking advise on accessibility problems are welcome or may be you would like to join us; the Panel is a registered charity and a member of the Scottish Disability Equality Forum.
